CASA Collective – VR Experience for Index 2025
Developed an immersive VR showroom for CASA Collective at Index Dubai 2025, allowing visitors to virtually explore high-end furniture collections and interior styles in real time through Meta Quest devices.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Interior Design, EventTech, Furniture
Client :
Collab Cloud Tech
Project Duration :
2 weeks

Problem :
CASA Collective wanted to stand out at Index 2025 by showcasing their luxury furniture and interior design collections. However, the physical booth space had limitations, and traditional catalogs or videos couldn’t offer the immersive feel of their design language. They needed a compelling way to let visitors explore an entire catalog within a limited exhibition footprint.

Solution :
We created a standalone PCVR application built in Unreal Engine 5.3, optimized for Meta Quest 2, that allowed visitors to enter a fully immersive virtual showroom. Guests could walk through themed interior environments, interact with furniture pieces, switch styles and finishes, and even view moodboard configurations – all without needing physical samples on-site.

Challenge :
The primary challenge was optimizing high-fidelity assets for VR while ensuring smooth frame rates on exhibition hardware. We streamlined lighting using dynamic global illumination and LOD setups and implemented intuitive teleport and gaze-based interactions to accommodate first-time VR users. We also preloaded scenes to prevent wait times during transitions.

Summary :
The CASA Collective VR Experience was a showstopper at Index 2025. It extended the physical booth’s storytelling into a scalable digital dimension, allowing customers and partners to experience CASA's full design ecosystem virtually. The project was praised for its interactivity, polish, and ability to convey premium design without physical constraints.
